Common Service Centres (CSC)are physical facilities for delivering Government
of India
e-Services to rural and remote locations where availability of computers and
Internet
was negligible or mostly absent.
Common
Services Centre (CSC) programme is an initiative of the Ministry of
Electronics
& IT (MeitY), Government of India. CSCs are the access points for delivery
of
various electronic services to villages in India, thereby contributing to a
digitally
and financially inclusive society.

* How CSC works :
CSC is an e-Governance service India limited it is a special purpose vehicle (SPV)
that
connects the local population with the
Government department, private and government
banks,
insurance companies and some service providers in the private sector using IT-enabled
network
of citizen service points.
Basically,
CSC is a place from where the VLE (Village Level Entrepreneur) operates his
activities
and serve the users.

*How to start CSC :
1. Open the CSC Portal i.e. www.csc.gov.in
2. Click on “Interested to become
a CSC” on the right side of the page.
3. Click on Link given ” For CSC
Registration, Click Here”
4. Enter the Aadhar Number in
required box.
5. After that choose the authentication
Option from IRIS/ Finger Print/ One Time Password.
Click on
“Proceed”.
Applicant have to pass through OTP Process.
6. Click on Generate OTP.
7. Upload the Geo-tagged Image of
Centers.
8. Click on SUBMIT Option.
* Benefit :
A CSC is an IT enable front-end delivery points for Government, private and social sector services to rural citizens of India in an integrated and seamless manner. A CSC is managed by Local unemployed, educated youth providing opportunities for direct and indirect employment.
*How to register on csc :

The Indian
Institute of Banking & Finance conducted IIBF exams twice a year in June
and
November. The exams of IIBF aim at providing excellence to banking and finance industry employee in their professional careers.

CSC
Academy has designed a certification course named Telecentre Entrepreneur
Courses (TEC).
After completing this course, successfully, the applicant will be eligible to open a CSC center and can apply as a Village Level Entrepreneur (VLE) in the CSC network.
