How to open CSC center easily in 2021

 

* Intro :

               Common Service Centres (CSC)are physical facilities for delivering Government

               of India e-Services to rural and remote locations where availability of computers and

               Internet was negligible or mostly absent.

               Common Services Centre (CSC) programme is an initiative of the Ministry of

               Electronics & IT (MeitY), Government of India. CSCs are the access points for delivery

               of various electronic services to villages in India, thereby contributing to a digitally

               and financially inclusive society.

 * Features :

             Some of the features of CSC services is as-

               1. Focus on Rural Entrepreneurship.

               2. Providing Private Sector Services also.

               3. Multi Dimensions Initiative i.e. Based on Community Needs

               4. Building Rural Capacities and Livelihoods

               5. Positioned as change agent to various Government and Non Government services

               6. One Stop solution for various G2C and B2C Services.

               7. One CSC will cover the cluster of 6 villages i.e. 6,00,000 villages networked.

 

* How CSC works :

               CSC is an e-Governance service India limited it is a special purpose vehicle (SPV)

               that connects the local population with   the Government department, private and government

               banks, insurance companies and some service providers in the private sector  using IT-enabled

               network of citizen service points.

               Basically, CSC is a place from where the VLE (Village Level Entrepreneur) operates his

               activities and serve the users.

* Eligibility & Other Requirements :

                Age - 18 years

               Qualification -The Matriculation Level Examination or from recognized board passed

 

               Requirement -   1. Person should have fluency in reading and writing the local language.

                                             2. Basic knowledge of English Language and Computer Skills.

 

* Other Requirement for csc :

               1. PC’s with UPS with 5 hours battery back-up or portable generator set. PC with licensed

                  Operating System of Windows XP-SP2 or above.

               2. Printer

               3. RAM having the minimum storage capacity of 512 GB

               4. Hard Disc Drive of at least 120 GB

               5. Digital Camera/ Web Cam

               6. Wired/ Wireless/V-SAT Connectivity

               7. Biometric/IRIS Authentication Scanner fro Banking Services.

               8. CD/DVD Drive

 

* Required Document to apply CSC center :

               1. PAN Card

               2. Aadhar Card

               3. Passbook

               4. Cancel Cheque

               5. Passport Size photo

               6. Signature

 

*How to start CSC :

               1. Open the CSC Portal i.e. www.csc.gov.in

               2. Click on “Interested to become a CSC” on the right side of the page.

               3. Click on Link given ” For CSC Registration, Click Here”

               4. Enter the Aadhar Number in required box.

               5. After that choose the authentication Option from IRIS/ Finger Print/ One Time Password.

                  Click on “Proceed”.

                  Applicant have to pass through OTP Process.

               6. Click on Generate OTP.

               7. Upload the Geo-tagged Image of Centers.

               8. Click on SUBMIT Option.

 

* Benefit :

                A CSC is an IT enable front-end delivery points for Government, private and social sector                        services to rural citizens of India  in an integrated and seamless manner. A CSC is managed                   by Local unemployed, educated youth providing opportunities for direct  and indirect                               employment.

 

 

*How to register on csc :

               1.Select the application type for enrollment from the drop down menu.

               2.Enter valid TEC certificate number which will be provided post TEC completion.

               3.Enter valid RDD code.

               4.Enter valid DOP code.

               5.Enter your active mobile number.

               6.Enter the captcha as displayed on the screen.

               7.Click on submit to proceed.

 

* Fees for registration :

                  After submitting you need to pay the registration fee which is 1479.72 Rs.

 

* Exam :

               The Indian Institute of Banking & Finance conducted IIBF exams twice a year in June and

               November. The exams of IIBF aim at providing excellence to banking and finance industry                     employee in their professional careers.

 

 

* Certificate :

               CSC Academy has designed a certification course named Telecentre Entrepreneur Courses                       (TEC).

               After completing this course,    successfully, the applicant will be eligible to open a CSC                         center and can apply as a Village Level Entrepreneur (VLE) in the   CSC network.

 

* Investment :

                Total investment Cost per CSC will be 1.25 to 1.50 Lacs.
